Description
There are no tricks to gentitg the best deal. There are however one or two things you can do to ensure you get the best possible price. The first of those is to book as far in advance as you can. Airlines release tickets in batches, as each batch is sold out the next is released at a higher price. Tickets go on sale between nine and ten months in advance of departure.Second, when you see a price you like book it, don't wait a week because chances are it won't be there anymore.Third, Have a span of dates within a week of your optimum to look at as prices can change according to demand on particular days.Fourthly, check a few sites, comparison sites like kayak.com are good. When you see a good price on a site check it out on the airline's own website as it could well be cheaper there as there is no middle men to pay commission to.Finally, avoid travel on public and school holidays as the price of tickets is always higher at these times. The one exception is flying on Christmas Day when you can get a good deal.Hope that helps
